Well y'all, another week has passed and we are that much closer to fall. Autumn officially begins on September 22nd, but I swear there was a little breeze today that was the beginning of the beginning, you know? I took my bridal portraits today and it was the perfect weather! Couldn't have asked for a better day.
One of the reasons I love fall, is that I get to bring my booties out. I do wear them occasionally in summer, but they are definitely my "fall shoe". I'm obsessed. The bootie I'm wearing in this post is one of my recent bootie purchases! I have a tall black bootie, but I didn't have a flat. These are flat enough and super comfy. Pretty sure I could walk all day in them and still be fine! They have flat leather, but these are snakeskin leather, so they add a little fun-ness to your look, without being too loud.
Booties are for sure my favorite shoe right now, but it should be yours too. Why? Because they are so versatile. Most of the ones out there can be worn throughout the year, so they are worth the money every time. Here are my top 4 booties to make sure you have in your closet. Some obviously overlap categories, but these are just some kinds to keep in mind, in general.
1) Transition Bootie. This is my FAVORITE. I love all of the heel-less booties, cut-outs and ankle "slices" that are trending right now. They let your feet breath and offer a cute, seasonal option in lieu of a sandal. Here are some of my favorite ones on the market.
2) Flat Bootie. You need these just for a practical sense. Duh. The ones I featured in this post are number one right now, but here are some other cute ones!
3) High Heeled Bootie. These make you feel SO fierce!! You can use them for formal events or just to dress up a casual look. You can get them in any color obviously, but a MUST is black. I wear those more than any other, just because they are so chic! Scroll through to see some of my favorite options.
4) Statement Bootie. Okay, so I have these cheetah ones and they are bomb. We all know that leopard and cheetah are essentially a neutral, so they go with everything. I wear them with cutoffs, dresses, and pants, without a hitch. They are just a killer shoe. You need at least one loud shoe, to really wow some outfits.
