I think it is kinda sorta starting to feel like fall around here! And by "feel like fall" I mean we have some days that are supposed to be under 90 degrees! If you missed it, I celebrated the start of fall last Friday with a fall sweater guide. Now, I love sweaters and have already showed you some great one for the season (the elmwood stripe sweater here and the cross back sweater here), but something I love even more is a cozy cardigan! Especially loooong cardigans. They make me feel chic and comfy at the same time...comfy chic! (I actually did an ode to long cardigans earlier this year) Anywayyyy, I don't discriminate against length though, so bring on all your best cardis!
I really like this one because it has a fun pattern, but doesn't scream HOLIDAY SEASON. The only reason I say that is because some cardigans/sweaters are great, but you can only really wear them in December. This one actually comes in a cream version too! I featured it on my instagram here.
I think my infatuation with cardigans stems from the fact that they are so versatile. (my buzzword!!) You can pair them with dresses, pants, and shorts - my favorite summer-fall transition look! I'm headed to a bachelorette party this weekend and it is supposed to be rainy and 60s-70s. You can bet your bottom dollar I'll be packing at least one cardigan to wear around the house or for a casual look out. All about that effortlessness!
