Happy June!! Summer is coming, or at least it is slowly, but surely in Los Angeles. We have had a case of the May Grays and are sliding straight into June Gloom. These are both months when the sun doesn’t show itself as much. I saw someone call it June BLOOM and I want to take on that mindset instead! What areas can you grow this month? Can’t wait to check back with you come July.

In the meantime, here are some of my recent favorite things! Everything is linked in the collage (except the vitamin c), as well as hyperlinked in the text below. Enjoy!

  1. Gap Rib Eyelet Flutter Tank. I bought this shirt on a whim. I had really come to Gap to purchase these leggings for Olive. I have been searching for more elevated basics and this one was right up my alley! I gabbed it in green and have worn it so many times. I love that it is comfortable like a t-shirt, but also cuter than a plain t-shirt. I’ll be wearing it all summer long. It’s been on sale, so grab one for yourself too!

  2. Carter Cold Travel Mug. (c/o) I love the Fellow Products brand and this is their newest creation, just in time for summer. It has a spill-proof straw lid and will keep your water, iced coffee, etc cool by the pool!

  3. Show Me Your Mumu Paula Pullover. I was able to score this at the Show Me Your Mumu sample sale, but would have paid full price for it. I ordered a little slip dress to wear under it as a regular dress too! I’ve seen people pair it wit jean shorts and such, so it is much more than just a swim coverup.

  4. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. I had heard wonderful things about this book, but recently had the chance to read it. I love that it is a different approach at a book (it’s about a video game), but whether you’re a gamer or not, you’ll like this book. Definitely give it a read or listen to the audiobook. It’s worth it!

  5. Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl. I read her book Save Me The Plums, so I had to read this one too. I think I still liked Save Me The Plums best, but this one was so good! I love food and non-fiction, so this was the perfect pairing. The headline is that she was the food critic for the New York Times, but wore disguises so people wouldn’t know it was her!

  6. Mens Casual Button Up Shirt. I bought Nick this shirt last year, but I just checked and it is still in stock, so I thought I’d share it. He always gets compliments on it and it looks more expensive than it is (on sale for $25!). It might be the perfect gift for the dad in your life. Since he likes this shirt so much, I recently grabbed it for him in the β€œblack coffee” pattern.

  7. Show Me Your Mumu Cannon Romper. I love a good romper, so when I found this at the sample sale, I had to have it too! It’s a stretchy denim button-up that would look great with sandals or sneakers, so great for running around, chasing toddlers, while looking cute.

  8. Ticket to Ride Europe Board Game. We love the America Ticket to Ride game, but I think we might actually enjoy the Europe version better. Perhaps because of the added parts of the game? Definitely check it out for your next game night!

  9. Educated Mess Vitamin C Serum. I was hesitant to try this because it is double the price of my previous vitamin c serum, but I actually think it is worth it. I found it on Tiktok because the creator is a cosmetic chemist and knows the cosmetics world so well. I’m very impressed by her and her company!

  10. Amanda Uprichard Hera Bodysuit. This is my THIRD color in this bodysuit. I bought it when I was 4ish months postpartum and it was the only thing I felt good in. It is kind of low cut, but I just pin it closed. It is so elevated - I just love it! I bought this one on sale, but I bought my first one full price. It was worth it to me, because I hated everything else I tried on.
