It's a new month. You know the drill! I'm reviewing some of my current favorites for ya! View them via the collage below -you can click on an image and be taken to the direct link. If it doesn't click through, just refresh the page. Under the large image, I pasted a direct link for each item and why I'm currently love it. Enjoy!
The Original Worm (c/o) To be 100% honest, I get a lot of emails. Not as much as some of y'all, but enough to where if you aren't addressing me by name, I probably won't respond. Another way to catch my attention besides using my actual name (crazy, I know!), is to have something actually cool. This "worm" created by Karen Atkins stood out to me as brilliant and useful. I have been taking a tennis ball to the gym with me for almost 2 years. I use it to massage out my hips, as well as the arch of my foot, among other things. I have been using the worm for about a month now and am hooked! It can work like a foam roller if you need it to, and gives me the same, if not more benefit as the tennis ball I've been using! Plus, it is carry on bag friendly in size and weight. I just can't get enough!
One Love Organics Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser (c/o) I mentioned this on instastories when I first received it and again on my Why I stopped getting eyelash extensions post. Initially I was leery of this because I had heard that foaming cleansers were harsh...I was mistaken. First of all those are typically products that come out foaming, where as this product comes out like a gel and gently lathers your face. During my last facial (I go to Eleven Wellness in Dallas), my esthetician Amanda, mentioned that I should maybe switch from a cream cleanser to a gel. Holey moley, I can already tell the difference! I tend to get milia and this has already helped make my complexion feel softer and appear more clear!
One Love Organics Love + Charcoal Mask (c/o) Not sure why, but I had this idea in my head that charcoal masks were harsh on skin. It might get out the bad stuff for me, but this mask also leaves my skin moisturized and smooth! I use this one probably once every week or two and love it!
Ora Organic Turmeric Curcumin Supplement. I'm not sure what made me take the plunge, but somehow I started reading up on turmeric and its benefits. There's a post to come, so I don't want to give tooo much away, but I liked what I saw and decided to find a good supplement to buy. I enjoy turmeric in my juices, so why not make it a part of my daily dose! I originally found Ora Organic from their probiotic reviews, but when I saw that they had turmeric, I was in! I think it has helped with my body's inflammation as well as my complexion. More on this soon;)
Cybele's Free-to-Eat Superfood Veggie Pasta. I have been spamming your instatory viewing with this for the past several months and I can now say that I have tried every flavor! What's cool about these is that they are 8-free, meaning that they don't contain the top 8 allergens: dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, wheat, fish, soy or shellfish! They are also gluten free, contain loads of plant based protein, low sodium, and contain more than one full serving of veggies! I love to mix the noodles with just olive oil or butter, and add fresh spinach or broccoli! I love having these on hand for when I need a quick dinner and don't want fast food.
Osea Malibu Hyaluronic Sea Serum. At my last facial appointment, my esthetician commented that my skin seemed dehydrated. I always think that I am hydrated enough because I drink a ton of water, buuut I guess not. She told me that I should find a water based hydrating serum. I have a ton of oils I like, but I needed a water based one. I already use a couple of Osea Malibu's products, so this was a no brainer. I use it every night can already see a difference in my skin. Love it!!
Biossance Squalane + Mineral SPF 45 Sunscreen (c/o) I have been using SuperGoop! Matte sunscreen for a while and though it is cruelty-free, it is on the higher end of the toxin spectrum. This one works great and is nontoxic! It doest take a little longer to rub in because it has zinc in it / is not clear, but I don't mind. It doesn't leave you feeling sticky or oily, so that's a plus too. Some reviews mention glitter?? But honestly I haven't noticed it...but I have been known to buy glitter sunscreen on purpose. (lol)
Agolde Denim Shorts. I mentioned the denim version in my April Favorites post and have since gotten the black version. These shorts are super easy to throw on and I think you can dress the black version up a little more than the plain denim pair. They are pretty much my summer uniform. I did a dedicated blog post to longer denim shorts, here.
White Camisole. Everyone needs one of these, whether to layer under a blazer for work or wear on the weekend to brunch. It is a closet staple and this one comes in several colors!
Nike LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2 Women's Running Shoe. I've been on and off my workout game since the wedding (lol 2016), but I've been being more consistent lately and these are my go to shoe for running or really anything at the gym. I like them so much that I actually own them in two colors! They are comfy and sleek.
Anything you are crushing on lately? Let me know in the comments below, so I can check it out. Who knows...maybe it will be featured on my top 10 next month!
