My Secret for Going Commando

I have never really considered myself an athlete. Webster's Dictionary says that an athlete is someone who is proficient in sports and/or other forms of physical exercise. Proficient? I'm proficient in Microsoft Word, but in sports? I'm decent.
I'm above average female height, but I always dreaded volleyball. Would I make it over the net, when it was my turn to serve? Can you fail PE class?! I'm the girl who played college intramural sports, for fun. Like PLEASE put me on the F team. One time I made a basket, for the opposing team. I mean, hey...at least I made it in the net? Dancing I was good at, but better at ballet, that modern forms. Golfing, I could putt pretty well. At one point, my parents wanted me to get a golf scholarship to college. LOL. Sorry about that, mom and dad. It wasn't until I started running, that I found a sport that I loved.
One of the reasons I love running, is because it caters to you and you alone. To use a golf term, you get to determine a handicap. Want to run a 10 minute mile? Do that and run with that crowd. You aren't pressured to keep up with the 7:30 milers if you can't. An opposing example would be dance. You see, in dancing, you're judged against other people and their abilities. It's difficult, because your body just may not be able to bend certain ways, etc. It's hard to feel accomplished if you don't win; however, with running, beating a personal record, or even just finishing is a huge accomplishment. (not that finishing a dance isn't an accomplishment - it's just different, from my experience) Last year I ran my first half marathon race (I had trained for one before), but didn't get to fully run it, because I developed runners knee and injured my abductor. Needless to say, I limped across the finish line.
I may have gotten injured, but let me tell ya...my running outfits are always on point! Did you know that nearly 40% of people go commando when they work out? And yes, people...I am that statistic! I do so when I'm running, but also when I'm practicing yoga.
I've done yoga in the past, but it was very sporadic. When I injured myself, I couldn't do much, but yoga, so I jumped, okay...hobbled, at the chance to do something for my body! Yoga is another sport that you can "handicap" to your abilities. You can be a master yogi and take a beginner class that still challenges you, because you can always do adaptations and inversions to better fit your level/abilities. With all that deep breathing and stretching, the last thing I want to think about is underwear. It can often become uncomfortable, especially if you practice hot yoga, like I do. So, what's my secret for going commando in style? Use Cottonelle®!
I first started using Cottonelle® in college, because my roommate would buy it. She always purchased the Gentle Care Aloe Vera and Vitamin E package. After I used it, I was hooked! Life is too short to use bad toilet paper, you know what I'm saying? There's that really thin, scratchy stuff, that just isn't right for the job. Cottonelle® CleanRipple Textures is a proprietary innovation on all Cottonelle® toilet paper and flushable cleansing cloths, that is designed to clean better than the leading value brand. So, no matter which version of Cottonelle® that you buy, you can always be assured that it will get the job done well;) Only Cottonelle® has CleanRipple Texture, designed to clean better, so you're clean enough to Go Commando.
