***SIZE DOWN IN DRESS*** I'm wearing an XS

Hello! Me again, Mrs. Versatility! Y'all have really shown me the love on these types of posts, so I have tried to increase them. When I saw this dress on the Shopbop Sale last week, I knew it would be a good one, because it was the update to the Perfectly Victorian Minidress that blew up at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year. I actually did a similar post called Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dress 4 ways, and stillll managed style it a little differently, so enjoy!

Usually when I do a "The Art of Versatility" post, I try to style it pretty different ways; however, I didn't in this case, for 2 reasons

1) This is kind of a statement dress and I didn't want to cover it up, with the exception of maybeeeee a denim jacket

2) I wanted to share my love of shoes and how they can help you style things differently

Most of the time, I'm more willing to splurge on shoes than apparel, with the exception of jeans, because they can quite literally take me further. Which is your favorite shoe?I love all 4 of the shoes for different reasons and possible event styles! Another way to change the look of your outfit in a small, but big way, is with your earrings! I didn't showcase that here, but could have easily incorporated it! For the heels, I would have paired them with gold statement earrings, whereas with the espadrilles, I would have done a more playful earring like these red ones from the new Kendra Scott collection. For the suede boot look, I would probably do a simple gold option, since the boots themselves are kind of loud. For the booties? Anything goes! Here are some of my faves that would perfectly match this look.

Another easy thing to dress up or spunk up the look is the add a lip color, like I did styling it here. I wore the color Brad, which is my go-to hue! Which is  y'alls favorite look? I think mine is the over the knee boot look, because it reminds you that this dress can be worn into the fall, with the switch of a shoe! Thank you so much for reading. I hope this makes you look at shopping differently, or even better...look at your current closet differently! XOXO
