The Perfect Groomsmen Gift + How to Choose It

Wine Breacher by Bottle Breacher (Normal Bottle Breacher here) | American Eagle Socks

As soon as we got engaged (10 months ago), I started thinking about ways to make our wedding stand out from others. One of the ways I wanted to, was to be different when giving gifts. I wanted to give something unique, cool, and useful. That's when I found Bottle Breacher.

It's been a while since I did my year long focus on small niche businesses-  I called it Southern Elle Style Shop Share. I may have finished the series, but I still love focusing on and introducing small business owners and their amazing products. You may or may not know, but I am an avid Shark Tank watcher. I've work with several of the brands from the show and Bottle Breacher is my latest feature! They were on the show in 2015, but I forgot about them, until their update episode, earlier this year! They had just launched the wine breacher - and that's when the lightbulb went off in my head. This was THE perfect gift!

Nick gave his groomsmen an engraved bottle breacher and a pair of socks. Here's why we picked these items and how you can choose your own special gifts!

1) Something that will remind them of you. Nick loves wine and is one of the founders of the Dallas Wine Club. He is what he has deemed a "wine nerd". He is currently studying to take his first master of wine test, so wine is a huge part of our relationship and his friends know that.

2) Something that fits your theme or lifestyle. A huge theme at our wedding, is wine. (big surprise there!) From the color scheme, to the decor, wine is very prevalent. This gift is an easy reminder of our big day, which is kind of the point. The gift should say "thanks for being a part of our wedding", every time they look at or use it. Also, most of our wedding party is from Texas, or the south in general, so bullets and wine are a regular occurrence. It just makes sense!

3) Something that is actually useful. Y'all know I'm big on versatility and investment pieces. I don't like giving gifts that don't actually do something, if you know what I mean. In my opinion, it's better to spend a little more on something and have people keep it, than go the cheap route and have it just end up in the trash. The Bottle Breacher and the socks are both something that is useful and serve a purpose.

Groomsmen gifts don't have to be "unique" - I'm sure a guy doesn't think "oh gee, not another set of rocks glasses and a flask" every time he receives them as a groomsmen gift, but I still wanted breach outside of the bottle on that one. Get it? ;)

Do you have any unique groomsmen gift ideas? I'd love to add to my ideas  - I still have friends who are getting married and would love to be able to give them fresh thoughts!
